Incomplete Policy

All course work is due by the last day of the relevant term as indicated on the academic calendar.

Students may make arrangements with faculty for an extension up to the date that grades are due to be submitted to the Registrar for the relevant term. Students must make these arrangements by the last day of the term.

Under exceptional circumstances, students may petition the faculty member for one additional incomplete extension for up to two weeks beyond the date grades are due. Students must finalize this petition before date grades are due. At the point this petition is finalized, faculty must submit a grade of “I” (incomplete).

After the two-week incomplete extension period ends, faculty have one week to submit grades to the Registrar. If faculty do not submit a grade, any unsubmitted grades will default to “IF” (incomplete fail).
