Capstone for Professional M.A. Concentrations

For those students in the Professional M.A. degree program (Children, Youth & Family, Christian Ministry, Leadership & Innovation for Ministry), the projects are done within the Senior Leadership Project course (LD0530).

Project Options:

All M.A. students concentrating in Children, Youth and Family Ministry; Christian Ministry; or Leadership and Innovation for Ministry will create a capstone project in the area of their concentration. Capstone projects might include two papers, a practical ministry project or an article for publication.

The LD0530 Missional Leadership in Professional Settings course serves as a final capstone course for the three M.A. degrees in the Leadership Division. Students will demonstrate their ability to integrate theology, theory and practice in the creation and defense of a capstone project centered on a current issue in their concentration area. Capstone projects might include a practical ministry project or an article for publication. In addition, students will reflect on themselves as professional Christian leaders in light of their program learning.

Timelines:

The Professional M.A. Capstone is completed within the LD0530 Missional Leadership in Professional Settings course which is offered in the Spring Semester each year.
